Have you ever noticed that when everyone is talking to you, you can’t actually hear anyone talking to you?

It is the same in design.  If you have too many design elements trying to “talk,” then none of them can be “heard.”

Choose one or two design elements and make them heard!

Take a look at these two pages.  Notice the differences and you’ll see what I mean!  One of them has far too many design elements talking.
